Seattle Design Festival 2015 Part 2

On the 18th I got to volunteer at a talk by two architects from Miller Hull about their design for a new waterfront entrance to Pike Place Market. Check out the Market’s website for the project to learn more about it. Once the viaduct is down the waterfront is going to change drastically and it will be really cool.

Model of the design

David Miller & Brian Court – Miller Hull

And then I got to explore the market after the stalls were closed and all the tourists were gone. It was really cool. Brandy, you need to come visit so we can go explore together (I didn’t really like being all alone so I didn’t stay long).

A few more pics on Flickr.

    1. Thanks Rachel, it really was. I want to go back with Aaron. The restaurants are open later so we could do dinner and then stroll around some.
