Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Oatmeal Mix

Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Oatmeal Mix

1/2 C Cremora
1 C sugar
1 C brown sugar
3 1/2 C powdered milk
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
8 C quick oats
1 C dried fruit (raisins, apples, dates, cranberries)

Stir everything together, but oats and fruits, then add them in.

To make:  Heat 1 C of water to boiling, then add in 1/2 C of mix.  ready to eat.

Has evolved to this:

1 C each brown sugar and granulated sugar
2 tsp each cinnamon and salt
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
8 C oats

Mix together (I like to store it in an upcycled ice cream tub.)

To Make:  1/2 C mix and 1 C water in a micro safe bowl, add chopped apple or dried fruit if desired.  Cook on high for 3-4 minutes.  If oatmeal tries to boil over stop, stir and finish cooking.  Let stand for a couple of minutes.  Add applesauce (if desired) and milk.
