Brothers

overheard this evening after the boys went to bed:

Grayson, "Do you have to let it linger, do have to, do you have to, do you have to…"

Hayden, "Grayson, stop that."

Grayson, "No," continues singing.

Hayden, "Stop it or I’m going to come down there and beat you."

Grayson, "You’re not Dad.  Do you have to let it linger…."

"Ouch"

"I told you to stop it."

"Do you have to, do you have to, do you have to…."

  1. Hilarious.  Ah, such a young age to be a fan influenced by The Cranberries.  The sound I usually hear is some kind of sound indicating a crash or dropping of something or falling indicating some clumsy act.  Whatever this unexpected sound was it is usually quickly followed up with Jennifer (my 7yr old) letting anyone know within earshot of that sound know, "I’ll fix it!" or "It’s ok, I’ll clean it up!".  This is funny because it is obvious to us that she’s the one that caused whatever it was even though we may not see what it was that made the sound.  It’s like hearing someone fall downstairs only to quickly hear "I’m ok!" or even better "That was fun!"
  2. Haha!  I can relate to that!  Anna does the same thing to her siblings and I always tell them, "at least she is making HAPPY sounds!"

    Good song!
